Great black & White photographers Pt. 2

Name: Manuel Bravo Alvarez
DOB: February 4, 1902 Mexico City, Mexico
Death: October 19, 2002
Education: Left school at age 13 and began to work in a goverment office, He studied at the National Academy of fine Arts music and painting.

At age 21 he learned European Photographic techniques from Hugo Brehme & Wilhelm Kahlo.

He Represented the height of Mexican Photography in the 30's and 40's  he also was the leading surrealists artist on the North American continent, his work was praised for its realism because of its intense focus on th everyday lives of Mexico's diverse population.


This is one of my favorites pics of Manuel Alvarez because it deals with the people of Mexico's diverse population.
